Ângela Carvalho is co-founder and CEO of beat therapeutics, a biotechnology startup born out of the University of Porto ecosystem and dedicated to developing new therapies for aggressive cancers that resist existing treatments. Her career combines scientific research, business development and entrepreneurship in life sciences. In 2023 the project was awarded ANJE's Young Entrepreneur Prize, among other national and international recognisations in health innovation.
