Carlos Carvalho

Carlos Carvalho is a partner and CEO of Adyta, a Portuguese technology company specialising in secure communications, cybersecurity and R&D. Based at UPTEC — the University of Porto Science and Technology Park — he leads the company's growth and innovation strategy, including participation in international technology consortia covering European security and defence. He is President of the National Board of ANJE — the Portuguese Young Entrepreneurs Association — where he actively advocates for better conditions to start, innovate and attract talent, as well as for the internationalisation and competitiveness of Portuguese companies. He is also Vice-President of the Ibero-American Federation of Young Entrepreneurs and a board member of IET — Instituto Empresarial do Tâmega. With an academic background in Management, his career spans business leadership, innovation, business development and the promotion of entrepreneurship.
